Cancer is not a journey that anyone chooses, however it is a journey that changes those who traverse it. Letsband242 was created to serve as a companion for those persons who must face this disease to serve as a source of hope, inspiration, support and reassurance along the way.

As the site develops we invite all persons in this cancer war to join us. These soldiers are the newly diagnosed, those in treatment, those who have completed their treatments, those who care for the victims and those left behind when the battle is lost.

My personal journey made me aware that I was not alone in the fight, in as much as I had those who were concerned about my progress, in the battle with me were those loved ones whom the threat of the disease wore the heaviest. Their fears and their concerns were as real as mine.

Letsband242 will seek to give them the emotional support, the educational resources to fuel them as they assist in the carrying of this disease.
